Procedure
Our routine podiatry appointments typically last between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on the level of treatment required. For new patients, your first visit will also include a Neurological and Vascular Assessment to give us a clear picture of your overall foot health.

This assessment includes a Doppler test to check the quality of blood flow in your feet, along with a cardiogram reading to help identify any underlying circulatory concerns. These checks are especially important for patients with conditions such as diabetes or a history of vascular issues.

Once your assessment is complete, we carry out the necessary treatment — this may include nail trimming, reduction of thickened nails, debridement and smoothing of hard skin, corn removal, strapping and padding, and management of ingrown toenails, as needed. We take the time to tailor every appointment to your specific needs, ensuring your feet are not only more comfortable but also cared for to a high clinical standard.

Our podiatrists are also here to answer any questions or concerns you may have about your foot health. If we detect anything that requires further attention, we have strong, well-established links with local GP surgeries and can make a referral for further investigation or support when appropriate.
